if it is available Stateside you could get Irun guns or Prophet River to bring it in for you?Apparently the new Ranger Rifle is a modified version of the Tikka T3 Compact Tactical Rifle but we don't seem to be able to get it in Canada.
Conceptually, the closest you can get in Canada is the Ruger Gunsite.
we do not know the agreement between Colt Canada and Sako Tikka especially with Stoeger in the middle ....
sako is only licensing colt to make their rifle for military contract and for a undisclosed. Profit margin. Why would they allow colt to produce their rifles for civilian sales without a seperate contract/licensing agreement?Just sit tight I'm sure tikka or colt canada will eventually put a few similar ones to the public. People are snatching up the colt Iur. There's a business opportunity there for colt if it's profit to be made they may have a go at it.
Wonder what the final price tag will be considering the first 125 rifles cost $1.5 million....
That cost I believe had ammo , cases training and stuff included.
http://www.reliablegun.com/en/tikka...r-polypropylene-stock-wvarmint-cheek-piece-10I think if Stoeger would concentrate on getting the CTRs readily available in Canada they'd sell a truckload or two.
don't forget the largest cost, the licensing agreement for colt to produce them. that one detail likely cost more than the riflesThat cost I believe had ammo , cases training and stuff included.
