Alright alright, I knooooooooooow I'm going to get about 100000000^787 responses consisting of "DEM PLASTEEK GUNS IS GURRBGE". HOWEVER:
I'm desperately looking around for a source to find the ATI Omni polymer UPPER RECEIVER. crazy, I know. I'm doing a proof of concept for a light to moderate use AR15 build and I would LOVE to get my hands on the poly upper to match the lower. In short, can anybody direct me to an importer that can get me the ATI Omni POLYMER UPPER RECEIVER

I want to get my hands on three of the uppers only too for some testing and light builds. If you don't have any luck in Canada which I doubt you will because nobody is bringing these in maybe we could do an import out of the U.S. And split the cost.

Just emailed ATI directly, will keep you posted on their response. I'd be interested in a split import, but I'm in ON, so one of us would get boned with extra shipping costs.

At this point I don't care about extra shipping costs I just want to get my hands on three uppers. Prepared to pay to play.

like your style brother. If you know something I don't (seriously anything at all) about the import game, shoot me an inbox!

If you can buy directly from ATI which is possible I'd use irunguns to bring it into Canada. Will cost an arm and leg for the one import fee to cover all of them but other importers charge a import fee the. A percentage. Say you order 4 of these, I am prepared to eat 3/4 of the import cost.

I've never done an import personally but doubt it could be that difficult.

Have you looked at the Wyndham (or Core - one of the two) polymer uppers, since the complete guns are available off the shelf, the uppers might be easier to get than doing your own import.

Sigh... you know full well (MC2) I just picked up two of the lowers, I guess maybe add me in too.

I wasn't sure if you were actually interested in building yours or not.

The Omni polymer upper receiver is only $40 U.S. Multiply it by at least 6 ordered and factor in shipping and import fee it will be about $80 Canadian each approx.

Plastic grenades are cool I suppose.

Opinions are like ass holes. Everyone has one.

What do you expect with that trolling intro? Make a fan club and get in a circle. LOL

I made that intro to ward off the neigh sayers. Your opinion on the use of polymer receivers is useless here man, you read that and went ahead and responded. Sounds like you're trolling.
regardless, thank you for your input, but it's no longer needed in this thread.

If someone does decide to import them, I will tag along for two uppers to help spread out the import costs. There are two other importers who are sponsors here on CGN (Prophet River & Insite Arms) who also import and their import fees are cheaper than IRG.

OP if you have a problem ordering these from the U.S. Let me know and I'll give it a try. Northbound Sporting Goods in Washington State is not far from me and a ATI dealer. His son owns Borderview Import next door which handles import of firearms and parts. I can arrange to pickup at the border with them and save shipping into Canada and brokerage etc etc.

Let's do this deal yesterday! That makes life considerably cheaper and easier!

I have been searching the upper for a dedicated .22LR build. I have a OMNI lower on a .30 caliber AR build and it works just fine and have no complaints on their product.

Correction I should have said Daves Sportig Goods not Northbound but I believe it's the same. I will email them and see what I can get going.

How many are we looking at getting total now for everyone???

I'm 100% in for one. Check my trader rating if unsure, but I'm definitely in.
