Drum mags and the McFaden Lightnen grip loader ?

I would guess helping the drum rotate would be key.
I wonder about the two different adapters for the 10/22.
One is offset. Maybe it would help?

this is correct. advance the drum a few rounds and then charge a few rounds,release drum gently and reposition grip on drum to advance a few rounds and charge a few rounds. once familiar with technique and procedure, charging a full drum is quick. the drum has too much spring pressure to use the mag charger without breaking something.
 
Thanks for the advice , I wasn`t sure if the loader would handle a drum by itself , so now I know what I need to know ,so I don`t break the loader.
