I find it funny that people harp on the NEA finish....I just bought a diemaco stripped lower that cost me almost $500,and the finish is even lighter then the NEA finish.....which cost me $65....so....yeah...
 
I bought the z marked pair a while back, and although the colour is unique and the finish has a bit of texture, they were a great deal I'd buy them again at that price in a heartbeat.
 
I ended up picking up a Colt Canada IUR on the EE for upper for this build. Was originally planning on building an upper receiver but the IUR was a great deal and I couldn't pass it up. Now just need to find a bcg and a charging handle, then I have all the parts, well once the lower receiver arrives of course.
 
Great to hear - I'm very impressed we've been letting you be, on this (no sense bugging you constantly). Keep up the good work!
 
any UN-anodized ones available,,maybe blems or something,,,something a guy could mess with before choosing his own finish,,you're driving distance from me so that great for me,,,maybe go pick it up,,buy more goodies while i'm at it,,i'd love to find some copper washer 7.62x39 to use in my Bolt gun,,

Great... now I need an upside-down upper! (or is it a lower now? LOL)

They look fine... I think I'll migrate over the parts that are milspec, and build a second (backup) on my old lower... (see what a can of worms a new receiver opens?)

Got my transfer notification from CFO, eagerly awaiting shipment now. Just picked up a bcg and charging handle from another site sponser on the weekend.
 
picked mine up today and installed a bushmaster lpk with no problems, but if you plan on installing a NEA or dominion arms upper on it you may have problems. The rear lug wont fit in the lower with either of my NEA's or my dominion.

I can't wait to get mine, but the SQ is dragging their heels saying 2-3 weeks because it requires extra verification due to it being a semi-automatic.

Is it the NEA and Norc uppers out of spec, or the lower? Anyone else put theirs together yet?
