IMR 4320 in 270.winchester??

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this
Powder m 270.winchester, I've used it in 3006
And 303 brit. Bullets I'm going to.try in my 270
Are 130gr Hornady spire points, flat based,
Have also some 150gr nosler ballistic tip
And manged to find a.box of 150gr Hornady round nose.
I've loaded some of the 130gr with 52gr of IMR4320
If weathers gd tomorrow
May sneak off.to range
Would.like to hear some opinions
 
Aught ti be alright man, ive used Varget for a long while, for hunting purpose with 130gr corelokts, slightly less velocity and a lot less load density, nice to shoot though...... and killed "elk" sized game to 350m that I had shot Sambar at.

Just from range, , the 100 yard group.of the 4320 52 gr
With the 130 Hornady, Soft points
Wish I was able to post a picture, tried 25 yard off
A bore site* gun wasn't off very much
Proceeded to 50 yards fired 2 , both touching in 10 ring
Then tried 100, was target set up with bingo marker
Dots, tried for the " red dabs, fired 3 rounds
And hit dab everybshot
Fired a 3 shot group on paper
Virtually covered them with a dime
Velocity was about 3200 fps
This was the absolute best accuracy I've ever encountered
With a budget entry level rifle ,, very happy with the model 783
 
52 gr, IMR4320, Remington cases, CCI200 lrg rifle primer
Seat bullet to cannelure, bullet is a flat based 130 gr Hornady
Soft point
Recoil is like a 100 gr load in 243
I will not change the load for this gun, unless I use 150gr
If I go for bear or moose,
Very underestimated powder for 270
I've used varget also
But 4320 wins hands down
 
Yes was just a tad under 3200
3160-70 ish
I'm not a guy to.preach budget guns, but the 783 is the most
"bang for your buck"
Remington got it right this time, a gun that has more options
Than some.much more expensive guns
But maybe someone will try usin!!g the 52 gr IMR4320
I found the load in Hornady 2nd edition pistol/rifle manual
 
My .270 Win FWT Classic SS doesn't care what you feed it with both 130gr+ 150gr bullets.Any powder like Win 760,RE#22,H4831,IMR 4350 or IMR 4831.............most cooperative gun I've ever owned....Harold

That sounds like my first handload ever., and my 270 load for years. Got it from a JOC book that I read to tatters as a kid. Jack mentioned in passing that he had found it to be consistently accurate in many rifles, so it seemed like a good place to start. Hard to believe that was 33 years ago.
 
Sierra lists Re22 as the most accurate and hunting load with the 130 and 150.
Nosler lists H4350 for the 150 grain and years ago when I tried it the loads were under one MOA at 200 metres from a Remington 700 Classic with a 22" barrel.
