Picatinny Rails for a Colt Diemaco SA20 Rifle?

Hi,

I've got a Colt Demarco SA20 Rifle on order and I understand if I want to mount any hardware on the handguard you're going to have to use some sort of bolt on Picatinny Rails like the ones offered by CADEX ($38.95). Are their any other options?

From the specs, I need the upper and lower rails to mount any optics forward, and to attach their folding grip, or a combination grip/bipod ($48.95).

I wouldn't mount any optic on a rail that is secured to the standard hand guard, it won't stay zeroed. If you want to mount a forward optic (which is a bit odd) you should replace the hand guard with a rail, or use a goose neck mount off the standard carry handle.

Any full length rail attachment system will work. KAC makes probably the best ones, but ALG, Daniel Defense, MidWest and others make very serviceable units.

Thanks for your help. I'll have to do some Internet shopping to see where I can get some of the manufactures you've mentioned and see what they cost. I'm in no rush, but I think if your going to spend a couple of hundred dollars you should look around.
