what does a guy have to do to find a stripped m4 upper?

Voodoo, wiccah, what is it I have to do to get my hands on a stripped upper??
I cracked my ASA side charging (the small latch on top just gave up...), and need a new upper (don't want another ASA)

Seriously, I've been watching like a hawk hunting its prey for weeks, everything is BO or OoS
no body has stripped uppers, and I mean regular uppers (no disrespect to vltor, lantac and all, I just want a boring plain upper with m4 ramps), also not interested in the NEA because of the finish

Try Alberta Tactical Rifle in Calgary they carried ASA uppers and had stripped ones before. Not sure if the stripped upper is asa or what brand but give them a try.

Wolverine Supplies has DD uppers for about $155, it doesn't have any DD logo, so it looks just like a genuine boring upper.

I have a S&W Slick side stripped upper (off an M&P Sport)... I was "saving" it for a rainy day.....

Never fired a shot with it, PM if you are interested. It will get you back up and running.

Yeah, it used to be free but they added that $250US fee this year I think. It applies to all receivers, barrels and muzzle devices as far as I know.
