Bah! Just buy the air soft version and strap 'er on there. What's the worst that could happen?
You'd need an extended and threaded barrel to start. Can't recall anyone who makes comps for sigs but I'd bet there out there somewhere. As a one off from a custom smith it's probably do-able, just not cheap.

is it really necessary on a 9mm? there is really not much recoil to begin with. like daBear said, it may be money better spent on sights, triggers and/or grips which would make really difference.

There is barely any more recoil than a .22 on a 9 and my girly wrist can handle it just fine but it's more about muzzle flip and a follow up shot. And it's also my money and can do what I want with it sooo lol
