Where can i find one for a sig p226? does anyone make ones that follow the same profile of the gun? saw this one for an airsoft gun and it looks awesome! thoughts?

You'd need an extended and threaded barrel to start. Can't recall anyone who makes comps for sigs but I'd bet there out there somewhere. As a one off from a custom smith it's probably do-able, just not cheap.

Have the threaded barrel. Just need the comp, brake or mock silencer to dress it up. There's a flash hider/muzzle break for the JR carbine that might be alright but it's more a flash hider than anything.
 
and just what do u think this is going to do, other than cosmetic change? Yur gun, do what u want but yur money may be spent on something that will actually improve function..Seen too many 1911 comps end up in the junk drawer so expect the same for others unless actually required for function
 
is it really necessary on a 9mm? there is really not much recoil to begin with. like daBear said, it may be money better spent on sights, triggers and/or grips which would make really difference.
 
I put one on my gsg .22

it reduced recoil so much that gone are the days of me not being able to sling my purse over either shoulder due to wrist fatigue.

Don't sweat it Toasty. Cosmetics is a perfectly legitimate reason to support the firearms economy. I agree, it does look pretty slick with the matched profile. Like something outa Hollywood.

Its his gun. I want a Sig 220 sport with the comp, is that a waste of money?

Note what he said looks awesome... So

Personally I like the 220 Sport comp and the 226 sport over a extended comp.

There is barely any more recoil than a .22 on a 9 and my girly wrist can handle it just fine but it's more about muzzle flip and a follow up shot. And it's also my money and can do what I want with it sooo lol

Actually a compensator for a 9mm has limited effect as the gasses required to make the comp efficienr are not there, but the added weight helps with muzzle flip though.

Never seen a sig with a comp, but any competent gunsmith can make and install one from a blank and match the profile, be prepared to pay at least 300+ for it, and maybe replace the barrel also if needed.
 
My 38super, with 115 grn bullets, going at 2500fps mad major, and had virtually no muzzle flip. ROs hated it due to the shockwave, thats why the bullet was banned, too many people were breaking their guns. Unless you knew which powder to use.

My comped 10mm does the same.

And neither found their way into a drawer, not the POS bushing add on comps.
