Comp III are the long ones?

For competition use (IDPA,IPSC) you will definitely want that style.

They're easier to grab with your whole hand, and you don't need to twist to unlock the rounds.

You just stab it straight in, and the rounds fly out when the loader bottoms out on the cylinder.

Are there any dealers in Canada selling Safariland Comp II (J-GL8C and J-K2C) or Comp III (J-GL8S and J-K2S) Speed Loaders for a S&W 586 and S&W 19?

Many of the U.S. dealers don't ship to Canada. I have contacted Armadillo Supply (speedloaderstore. com) but I would prefer to buy in Canada and not use EBay or Amazon.

Doesn't seem to be any sources for the S.L. Variant Speed Loaders.

Take a look at the Jetloaders as well. Similar to the Comp111's but IMHO a step up. The Speed Beez are even further up the food chain and I intend to pick up up two for IDPA. They are fast and do shoot the cartridges in to the chambers.

Take Care

Bob
