You think they would have gotten rid of the flash mold or what ever those lines are called that are common with plastic parts?
Also strange that they opted for no support clamp on the extension?
A Magpul stock would be a simple upgrade while your at it.....

I had one of these, wasn't worth the $$$$ sold it after 10 rounds WC is not what it used to be
scattergun technologies was the original "tactical" shotgun and introduced a lot of the features you see as standard these days (high viz follower, ghost ring sights etc.)...they were bought out by Wilson Combat several years ago and continue to be offered today.

I have wanted a Scattergun Technologies for a long time but always got distracted by the latest and greatest so this time I wanted to go back to the basics and opted for the Border Patrol over the Standard model.

I don't know how much harder I can look, all I see is a sling loop and a knurled end on the extension?
Can you give me a hint as to what you are seeing?

I know these are expensive, but I don't get it... wouldn't the ultimate 870 be the Wingmaster or Police (about $800)???
I'm a Mossberg/Fabarm guy so I'm sure I wouldn't understand. Handled a bunch 870's but I don't find them any better or worse than the other formats. Always loved my old man's vintage Wingmaster but came back to the Mossberg.
