As a desirable accessory to the above rifles, who, if anyone, retails them in Canada?

The item is B2005CAN specifically made for the Canadian Army by Eichorn Solingen.

I've searched the majority of the site sponsors with no luck.

With nearly 800 of these rifles and carbines in Canadian hands, I wonder if a Canadian retailer would consider contacting Eichorn Solingen
and bring in a batch.

Pricey is right. I ordered one direct from Eichorn and at E185, with the Euro exchange ($271 CAD), shipping ($45) and Customs Duty it was close to $350 CAD. That said, there is nowhere else to get one legally. Mine has now sold, but I had no difficulty exchanging e-mails with Eichorn's Director of International Sales (or some such) to arrange shipping, etc.

From what I remember first hand and what I'm seeing in photos, the front pinned sight is required to properly seat a bayonet to a C7/C8/SA15.7/SA20 correct? Can anyone think of a way one would be able to mount one to an IUR, other than cutting basically the entire sight away from the pinned section and using the lower bayonet lock?

Picked up both a Nella and Eichorn... Might have the maple leaf laser etched?
