Well it finally came. Let me just say I am impressed. The rifle is in perfect condition, no marks or scrapes or anything. The SS barrel looks awesome and my stock ACR trigger is included. Came in a nice black Bushmaster hard case, with MBUS sights and a cable lock and one spare metal mag. Mounting the MTAC and heading to the range!

Very cool conversions you are doing.

We do have a 7.62x39 bolt and barrel in the works which will happen. Cannot confirm when if ever we will have full AE drop-in calibre conversions though. We could drill two barrels (NR 556/7.62x39) with on the same jig, which would potentially make future gas system swapovers fairly straightforward.

I will so be in for a 7.62x39 acr.

Yes, stainless first.
Chrome lined models are on the heels of this shipment.

On Oct 2 the chrome lined ACRs were "on the heels" of that shipment. It's been 3 weeks. I was thinking that meant the chrome ones had been shipped as of the Oct 2nd arrival of the SS models and were arriving in 3 or 4 days. This means there will be at least a one month delay between the SS and chrome ACRs, perhaps longer.

To those who have got theirs: Have you found any ammo it seems to like yet?

I have put around 300 rounds through mine ad it runs great. When i strip and clean the rifle though i struggle to get the bolt carrier back into the upper receiver. It's no big issue, the problem is with the design of the firing pin retaining pin. It has an o-ring on it, so if you don't push it down as hard as you can, it wont sit flush against the bolt carrier thus not allowing it to get the clearance it needs to slide into the upper. You really have to push down on it to squish the O-ring enough. With time im certain it will break in a bit.

That is the only (sort-of) complaint i have haha.

The trick on this is to remove the o-ring first, push it into the carrier, then push the pin in.

Yeah this is beginning to frustrate me, has anyone received anything for the prolonged wait time, and I'm not talking about a apology.....first time buyer from arms east, bad experience.

No
There's been no offer of an extra mag or anything, only a comment about we are lucky we ordered before the Canadian dollar lost more ground to the US dollar.

You take the comment on exchange out of context. It was said after sending a wire for other things that morning and seeing the rates for new purchases.

Regardless, there is good news on the CMV CL ACRs and remaining SS ACRs! They are in Canada, cleared customs, and will be here later this week. We will get them out quickly from there. That we can promise.

Sorry for the wait and I hope people enjoy their rifles.
