Dam, now I'm going to have and go chase some pheasants before they close just to try this method.
So dam simple and a deep held secret ...

And not to far down was the tip on how to field dress one in 10 seconds, kinda like doing grouse...

jeepers I thought everybody dud their birds long that!!
we also use a bird hitch if we gave been on a game farm and have lots to do .
the legs are the toughest part to deal with on a bird whether cooking or making pies!
Just about ready to head out on Sunday for ourAnnual Great Alberta Bird Safari - if it flies if dies!:dancingbanana:
