I WISH I could run 220-240 grn @ 1,600 fps through a G20 but.... NOT LIKELY ROFL!

That would be one hell of a bear stopper!

So until I can find a Glock that can handle THAT kind of heat WITHOUT breaking my wrist? I'm sticking with 200 grn underwood @ 1,200 fps.

14grns of 800X under a 135grn Nosler JHP, 1670fps out of a Glock 20. Add another 100fps with a 6" bbl. I also use 11grns Blue Dot under pretty much any jacketed 180grn for about 1300fps. I have done most all of the nuclear loads but I have always stuck with those as they have proven most consistent in my experience.

That's about were I'm at, 11.2gr Blue Dot under 180gr camrpo plated bullet, average 1431 fps through my 1911 longslide.

I used to run an aftermarket barrel and heavy recoil spring. After many thousands of rounds I found myself reverting back to the plain stock configuration. I have had both gen 3 and 4 model 20s and actually get more bulging sooner with my aftermarket barrels than my stock one. I have also noticed that recoil spring weight has no noticeable effect on case head expansion. I mainly run a heavy spring just so my brass doesn't eject so far...

Thought I'd play with some 40s&w Hydra Shoks, pulled the bullets, they were 182grn with 5.5gns of unknown powder. (for a police issue round)

reloaded them to 10mm with 7.4 grains of imr4756, should crony at 1150fps

Can't wait to try them out of my FrankenTEN built out of spare parts I have had kicking around
