Gave my Hatsan MPA a real workout today. I had fired a few test rounds with the barrel extension, but today was proving day. Clays were smashed and after ~160 shells, I'm declaring it a success. What a great way to spend a few hours with a good friend and co-worker. It was also my first time trying to hit clay pigeons. What a pile of fun that was.

Wait, where did you get a choke adapter made? I wouldn't mind a proper set of chokes for mine.

It was a one off custom. I measured it all up and gave the plans to a machinist who did it for smiles and giggles. He made the adapter and I welded a piece of shotgun barrel that was already tapped for remchokes.

160!!!! A good proving session for you and your shotgun........good man :)

Might have to wait a week or two before I attempt that again. I'm no spring chicken anymore. The most 12g I ever fired before that was about 20. If the rest of the Hatsan line is as good as the MPA, well, everyone owes it to themselves to look at one. Fantastic shotgun for the money.
