Hey Guys,

How does the quality of Colt Canada/Diemaco compare to Colt AR-15's from the States.

If you do a search you should find that this has been discussed several times previously. I'll just put it this way.... a CC barrel blank costs more than a completed Colt barrel from the US. Better quality steel used, better quality and thickness of chrome lining, and a much better manufacturing process is used in Canada. Barrels made by CC are cold hammer forged while barrels in the US are button rifled. Even the lengths of barrels offered by CC are the result of much research and test firing to find precise accuracy nodes. I could go on and on but I'll let you either find the other posts or allow others to go into more detail.
