Canadaammo.com Store Credit Campaign

I was just shafted to the tune of a $25 credit. No where does it say that if you apply a store credit to your order, this credit is subtracted from the total amount of the order.
Example: My order was set up for $500. I applied a credit for $100 and thought I would get a credit for $50. Wrong. The credit amount is for the balance of $400.
Wish I had known this. Thought other people might appreciate knowing this.

Although not listed, I assumed it would be kind of self explanitory. It wouldn't make sense for them to credit you for money you didn't spend? Right? Maybe I'm assuming it's obvious because I used to be a retail manager, but I think it's fair if you don't get credit for money that wasn't paid out of your pocket

I understand the frustration but we did not purposely "shaft" you. I do apologize for the confusion. I have edited the OP to make the process more clear.

I am happy to either add to your order to bring you up to the $500 after the applied credit of less $100

or

we can remove the applied $100 credit so that you qualify for the $50 credit on this second order giving you a total standing credit of $150 to be applied to a future purchase prior to January 1, 2015.

I hope the proposed resolutions are satisfactory. You are welcome to email me directly at ryanj@canadaammo.com

Thanks!

Thanks Ryan. I really didn't expect this and appreciate your customer service in fixing this problem.

Not sure if this was asked or answered before.
But is the store credit applied to the order before taxes or does it apply to the order after taxes?

Would it be possible to use my credit to donate to CSSA? Basically spend the $25 on that, nothiing else ordered, no shipping needed?

If I read you question correctly, see here:

Receive an in-store credit for up to 10% of your order total when you shop with Canadaammo.com for any in stock products.

Credits are applied in increments of $25.

Example:

Order $250 to $499 and get a $25 credit
Order $500 to $749 and get a $50 credit
Order $750 to $999 and get a $75 credit

Credits are calculated for order total after discounts, rebates, credits and before taxes, shipping, and other fees.

Ryan, tried to donate my $25 credit to CSSA, system doesn't seem to allow it. Can you either talk me through it or sent something up please? Once done I'll start a new thread about it hopes one or two others might do the same.

Tis the season....

You will need to email me your name and a request for your credit to be donated to CSSA. I will take care of the rest!
