SKS Ban ?

Realistically when it comes to gun bans and negative gun laws under liberal majority governments, literally nothing is far fetched or off the table.

If an incident happens and the CBC runs with it, they could go full retard and do shameful things to us law abiding citizens.

Watch out.
 
They can also slam a new law or ban faster then you can expect. Cause they don't have to worry about theyre main voter base getting mad. So AKA us can be thrown to the curb extremely fast
 
Just wondering how they figure the average gun owner could make his M14 or SKS fully auto? What mod are they talking about? Bump firing?
 
Full automatic is not the problem , it's high cap. mag. possibility.

They work to ban all military look alike rifles equiped with removable mag.

It's easier to remove a small rivet from a mag. body than convert a semi to full auto rifle.

Both conversions are criminal offences, so, it's a law against these modifications.
 
Wait, so the RCMP has been googling how to make non-restricted firearms fully-auto while the rest of us 'bad guys' sit here and plink away in semi with 5rd pinned mags? But the gun owners are untrustworthy..

For NOW, until it comes from a more reliable source than a CBC article, i will chalk this up to CSSA hype, farming memberships based on a herp a derp CBC article designed to get the sheeple all riled up.
 
It would be phisically imposible to confiscate all the sks rifles in the country, but im sure they will try. however MASSIVE NON COMPLIANCE can work we just need to band together all of us and stand up and say no to thier draconian crap.

Yes but you're getting the idea. They're doing some of this in UK now - in fact some jurisdictions they've banned fire extinguishers because people may stay to fight a small fire rather than escape. Morons ...

That didn't work so well with the M1 carbine, AK variants, .25 and .32 handguns, short barreled handguns etc. I hope it works better this time around.

It's the shoelace trick. It's dead easy, anyone can do it.

And it works with any gun with a reciprocating charging handle (Garand, M-14, Mini-14, M1 Carbine, 10-22, and on and on and on)...

If they used this to justify banning the SKS, we're well and truly boned. About 2/3 of semi-autos are susceptible to the trick.
