I just seen a used but unfired FS2000 in I think it was tan at my local shop the other day. I know this is a rarity in Canada for this rifle.

I though I would post this info up as not to many people go to the shop looking for black guns even though they do have a couple for sale. I would like to see it sold to someone before the gun grabbers come knocking soon.

Anyways call up Gobles in London if you want one. And no I didn't catch the price but knowing Gobles it will be a little high.

I still miss mine...and an OD one would be sweet. But the spare parts situation worries me enough not to take the plunge again...probably. :)

Damn it I was just about to say where, then saw Gobles :-(

Their firearm prices are a bit high there. The prices on ammo and everything else I find reasonable. You can ask for and sometimes get cheaper prices on guns there if you can provide some proof that the gun should be sold for cheaper. I have on occasion got them to knock a price down close to competetors prices.

That being said, I have never had any problems with their service there despite the fact most people seem to dislike the place.

Also now that I think about it some more I think it was in tan and not OD making if even rarer. I wish I coulda gave it a look but alas my 3 year old boy was being a buthead that day so I was in and out far to quickly for my likings.

I heard back from Goble's (couldn't resist asking) and they're asking $2850, unfired and in original box (and it is OD, although FN's OD did always looks a little tan-ish to me). That's a fair price, I'd say, given the rarity of the rifle.

Join us again....

What's everyone using for ten-rounders now in their FS2000s? I used to use LARs with C-Products' "Tactipul" which worked great but I don't think they're available any more.

I still prefer the C-products ones... I traded some Ranger plates for a couple more a few years back.

Also, the 10 round LAR couplers work well. Not a huge fan of the look, but it does work well. C-products tactipuls are still my preferred mags.
