I saw one for sale recently, and it caught my eye.
Any one have one?
Ive never shot a USP, Im a die hard Sig guy.... But this USP has me tempted....

Are they worth the price tag?

I have a USP45 and love it. I've never shot the 9. There was a thread like this not long ago and I think a couple guys with USP 9mm's said they really liked them.

I have a USP .45 Compact Tactical - Honestly I do love the gun, but i'd love it MORE if it were 9mm. .45 is just too much for such a compact gun.

If I did it over, i'd get the 9mm. Aside that - the guns great. triggers good, functions like a sewing machine like you'd expect a HK too.

Unless you really want the pinocchio threaded barrel, I'd look at the USP custom sport. It has the match trigger and adjustable sight. It is one of the best values in the USP line. The Expert and Elite are considerably more expensive and only offer more barrel (which some like of course :).

USP9 is a great pistol. I actually like it better than the newer P30. The dual recoil spring makes it a very soft shooter. I find SA trigger to be quite good. A bit longer but lighter than Sig P226. DA is long and heavy as you'd expect.
