Hi guys so I have a colt Iur , basically wanted to get one before they disappear. I also gave a DA 556. Until I can fund the purchase if colt lower wondering if I'll have issues using Iur on norc lower? I know O.D of buffer tube on the norc is different. Any thoughts on what I need to change? Will the Bcg give proper spacing? Any help is appreciated.

Will this be the end of the world, when matter and anti matter touch?

JK op. I believe it should work, but as enefgee said, it won't hurt to check head space.

I have run Nork BCGs in "American" uppers.

Of the 3 I have experience with one would not function in any upper but the one it came in..... This was a CQ-A rifle purchased new in 2009.

I would have to say that if the BCG fits into the CC Upper and it headspaces OK, you should be fine, but if the rifle doesn't lock back on an empty mag of fails to pick-up the odd round.... don't be too surprised!

Cheers!

Mounting a Colt on a Norc is just wrong. I don't even shoot norc ammo through my Colt's. I think if you scratch the paint on a Norc, it's red underneath.:p

It will fit fine, but the upper/lower wiggle will drive you nuts.
I personally would not run the norinco bcg, get a milspec one like a hi-standard or DD.

I would be selling the DA to fund a CC lower.
Gp tactical still has em.

Buddy mounted a LMT upper on a Norinco lower, and he came in first or second in an ORA SVC match.

The fact is that it will work. And the trigger presser is the key. The rollmark on the side does not matter. The finger on the trigger matters more.

It's not in the budget right now to swap the lower. Sure i want the colt lower and I will in time as funds allow. I bought the upper before they disappeared. I'll report back when I take it to the range and run it.
