Anybody ever see a Bigfoot?

I'm open minded to Bigfoot given enough solid evidence.
I've spent copious amounts of time(day and night/mostly nights) in the Southern US swamps and riverine environment. I have seen and heard strange things and a few things that haven't ever been resolved, yet I never remotely thought anything was bigfoot. However that doesn't mean much as far as proof one way or another I suppose.

I do have some personal background in one of the strangest events of this type ever recorded and investigated in the US(lie detector tests, interviews, covert recordings, etc.) and as outlandish as the evidence seemed, I believe they(the two involved), were not fabricating the events of that night. But that is for another thread and another day maybe.

Hoaxes have damaged the reasonable believability of witnesses as has attempts to capitalize on their "experience" and of course the ridicule associated with the unexplained hasn't helped.

A true scientific unrefutable sample of bigfoot would be necessary and so far none seem to be in existence.

People joked about giant squid for years, until they were captured on video off the coast of Japan only but a few years ago...

yep! I got my money on Kelly, I'm sure one day he'll come up with what we are all waiting for! There's gonna be a lot of egg on some faces, I can't wait for that day, I think I'll even take a drive out to Lloydminster;)

Why Lloyd? Isn't he in the middle of Sask? I would love to come on one of these "expeditions". I am in the process of starting to plan my own here in Alberta. Basically just back country camping trips into areas seldomly walked by people with the necessary equipment to record something if it happens. Obviously I won't be going alone.

Saw that show on Giant Squids there were stories then they saw one.

Who really knows but I like the Chics and Beer idea. :)

I was talking about going to see what living large is all about and offer to wipe the egg off (gently of coarse, he wears size 13'sb: ) and to rub it in a little, I'd gas up my cherry car and go in it with a salt shaker in hand. I'll pick ya up along the way, if you wanna see first hand and have some fun! PM me, when Kelly has the proof. It'll be a fun week end!
I bet he's watching the football game or he is fretting the day that's coming and has no comment at this point! Yeah that's prolly it! Oh well, he'll likely come out of the closet when the heat is off or turned down a little!

Fellers, there just aint no bigfoot out there.
Various areas in BC have been quoted as prime bigfoot range, so lets look at the facts. Gold was discovered in BC on the Fraser River about 1850. Within a very few years prospectors had spread out to every place in BC. In the 1930s the official word from the Dept. of Mines was that every stream in BC had been prospected for placer gold, but none of the gold seekers reported seeing bigfoot. Had this strange object been living in the bush, somewhere, some of these men that spent a life time in the wilderness would have seen it.
By about the 1930s every specie and minor sub-specie of every mammal in BC had been officially listed and samples of it taken. No new species found since then.
But imagine that, they just happen to have missed what is said to be a huge man like creature roaming in the bush!
Oh well, have your fun.

An interesting take - I've always found Bigfoot to be more credible than say, Aliens visiting earth, but the skeptic in me tends to think as you do. Would it really be possible for a large hominid looking beast to hide in plain sight, with zero examples being harvested, ever?

I want to believe - but as time goes on and technology improves - it's getting tougher.

Where do they live? Where are their dwellings? Where are the dead? Where is their scat, their young, their tracks, their heat signatures on thermal. No trace of what they are harvesting to eat? Berries? Leaves? Other animals? If the latter, do they eat them whole and bury their scat with no trace of burial?

Life on other planets only makes sense, it would be quite naive of us to think otherwise.

If someone proves Bigfoot really exists, and I mean solid worldwide accepted proof, I'll let Kelly and two-dogs egg me as much as they want. Gladly.

I'm betting he is sitting there in Lloyd in the living large deep down in the basement rec room with those size 13's barefoot topped up high in the rocker and dangling over the edge with a bunch of non believer buddies whoppen it up as we speak! Rye whiskey, no doubt! And cheap chite, no doubt, 3 feathers or such! Well, at least we all won the game, the west is number 1, right! He will hafta face the music sooner or later. How long will he go into hiding, is the question! Lets take a pole.....................

Kelly has most of these answers answered, have you not been following his threads with the answers? You are living in yesterday, my friend!

Not yet he hasn't, once it is accepted by both the scientific community, and the public, not just a select few believers. :p

ok, so you are a tough egg to crack, I understand that, and I think you and your type should balls up and join Kelly on his open invitation to join him on his next expedition outing into the daring and dangerous wilderness! What ya say? Please, no excuses now, please! I'm not a banker, but as I offered before, I will loan ya a few bucks to go! This is not an open offer to everyone out there, but just to Bill here. I really liked his hard tail and six gun belt and took a liking to him and Kelly is leaning heavily towards him as a trusted wilderness partner with plenty of bush experience and cooking ability, which is the number one reason. Please don't hesitate too long, as these once in a life time offers fill up fast!

If I have the time to go, when the time comes, I will go, if I can afford it. That is if I am welcome, and if I cannot afford it, someone will help with the trip. I can make it there on my own steam, but we all know there is more cost than just fuel.

I would be more than happy to be camp cook, grunt and observer on any trip such as you guys are referring to.

Just because I am not a believer, doesn't mean I wouldn't be once someone can prove me wrong. I have been wrong before, umm, more than once!!

PM me if you want to discuss the subject in more detail, I'll give you a phone number.

The expedition can be done for fairly cheap as I have most of what we need , a few consumables and off we go.

The fires have had a major impact and changed the territory , travel areas and living areas extensively.

I am however confident that with minimal effort we can be hot on their trail once again , as well they have moved closer to town meaning we may not need to go quite as far as initially thought.

I have seen and photographed prints very near here.

one of the posters in this thread (a believer) PM'd me with privileged info that is somewhere on Face Book that will likely turn a non believer into the opposite. I have never been on FB and will have to get my son to check it out as soon as I can snag him to do so. I can not copy post anything or send you to the site with info that I find as I said this is privileged info coming from a fello gun-nut in trust. The best I can do is confirm the existence of sasksquawch is real or the info is not enough clear proof. Depending on what I see, I may suggest to the poster that he, if he wishes, could PM some others with the info. Of coarse it would be entirely his choice, but if I was in his shoes and decided to send some PM's, I would only send to the believers and almost believers. I would not bother with the non believers. Who cares what they believe and do not believe;)

Bill, you're forgetting that Mother Nature is the very best house cleaner there ever was! She doesn't leave anything laying around, not for long anyway! You mention their tracks, there are many tracks, many folks have seen tracks, even Kelly has proof of tracks. It's pretty well impossible for them to pick up all their tracks and take them away. It's the one thing that gives them away.

Not hiding out in the basement sipping whiskey and avoiding anyone or anything at all. Too bad I missed all this last night. Two-dogs, I haven't sipped whiskey in years, don't drink, don't do drugs so my mind is clear. Maybe thats why I don't see all this Bigfoot sign or even Bigfoot when I am out hunting. I was out hunting chickens the other day between Meadow Lake and Beauval when something black coloured scooted out of sight to my left about 15 yards into the bush without a sound but low to the ground. I never saw it long enough or clearly enough to ascertain what it was but my first thought was a black coloured wolf given what I thought I saw as a fuzzy tail? But clearly I didnt seee in any detail enough to ascertain for certain so unlike you hair sample and I know what I saw guys I didn't go reporting I saw a Bigfoot off the 903 rd. If I lived in the heightened state you and KT do I surely would have seen a Bigfoot clear as day at that moment because that is what I wanted to see. Don't worry about buying eggs, I always have some in the fridge. If you get your proof I'll gladly give you mine to egg me with and one other thing, the only reason I go to the basement is to do laundry or stoke the wood stove. As for living large well that's sarcasm son......, :)
