I obtained a bunch of RWS ammo...7 &6.5x57r...It has been sitting in a poor environment,so I pulled bullets( TIG,TUG)dumped powder, rid primer and ss pin cleaned in a pinch of lemon shine and a squirt of dawn.

For some reason the water is pee yellow.......the brass is clean, what reaction happened. It has never done this with any other brass

I have a STS wet tumbler and when I tumble fired cases the water comes out dirty black. I always wondered if the black water was all from the case or if it came from the rubber liner of the tumbler.

If I was to take a wild ass guess with your unfired brass the color reaction came from the LemiShine (acidic acid) and the brass. To answer your own question take a few other new cases of a different brand and tumble them and see if the water turns yellow.

If they turn yellow again you have your answer..............................you have Moose or Beaver piss in your drinking water.

Keep looking for the bar scene in Desperado. The one where the woman says "and your beer tastes like piss", Cheech says"we know, we piss in it"

Just cant find any short you tube video's

Personally i think you have done everything you need to ensure safety. If you are unsure of the brass, work up loads and check spent brass for any signs or issue. Just like with any other reloading. Personally the cost of reloads is one of the smallest costs in the sport. I spend 50X the cost for fuel driving to the range than any brass or pulled projectile. If you have any doubt use the components for fun plinking and develop other loads.

The brass is RWS.....I did ponder the idea if they use a different blend of metal for their brass. And, yes,it is just this brass that does this.Personaly,I have no use for the brass,I just can not stand having dirty components just laying around.

Like a good nutzer, mabey a gun will come into my life where I can use them.......or someone might need it more than me!!!!!

As for the glowing....funny enough,it is very fluorescent

Im fairly certain that I spend more at the range in reloads(100 match 308 rounds, ~1.00$/each), than in gas (15$/round trip) getting there and back.

I wish 100 rounds of 308 would cost less than 15$!
