I hunt in Ontario 63A as mentioned, and last week the morning of the 3rd or 4th, there was a very low flying helicopter. At first I thought someone was lost, cause of how they were flying, pretty slow and in a grid. They went back and forth probably 7 or 8 times then moved onto the next area. We hunt on private land, but there is a lot of crown land around.
Not sure if it was the MNR checking on hunters? or maybe someone doing training? I found it a little irritating, cause at one point they were uncomfortably close, so I waved "hello" and they moved on.
Anyone else encounter this?
