I did.

So far I'm loving it. A little bit more expensive than a Glock but the extra features are worth it. I think I prefer the small backstrap but I still need to try other combination of backstrap and side pannels. I like the slide release, similar to the M&P in profile. The trigger is amazing, much better than the Sig P320 IMO. Shot almost 400 rounds without any malfunction. I'll need some extra mag and holster because I think the SFP9 will be my next production pistol.

How could you compare it to Glock?

Muzzle flip is a little bit less noticeable on the glock 17. Mainly because of the lower bore axis and more aggressive grip texture. Besides that, the trigger is much better. The ergos are also superior, plus you get some neat features like front cocking serration, metal sights and charging support. The first thing that I noticed when handling the sfp9 is that it point naturally. The g17 got that weird grip angle that need some time to get used to.

Now trying to select between the sfp9 and Glock 34. What would be your opinion?
Shooting IDPA.

Haven't received my HK yet and I am not too crazy about the Glocks but I must admit that lots of after market parts for Glocks are available and easily found. HK extra mags are around $90 cdn.
I might try IDPA next year and I am considering my PPQ or sfp9 if I prefer it over the Walther.
OK

I just picked my new SFP9 up last night. Hopefully I'll get it out to the range this Thursday or Friday. Now all I have to do is list the VP9 that just arrived last week on the EE to pay for the SFP9!

OK

Northern Republic magasine and Irungun sell p30 mags for much less.

by the time you buy them off of the IRG American site and pay the double shipping and exchange, they cost almost that much as well.... :( I wish IRG would just get some in can put them up for sale on the Canadian site. They would definitely sell enough to make it worth their time.

Better stay close to your keyboard krausb, at that price your VP9 won't sit long on EE....................
