I'm thinking about picking up some of these to try in my 28 Nosler and am wondering if anyone has used this bullet in any 7mm bore rifle.
Any thoughts or experiences ?

Berger make excellent long range hunting bullets. Depending on your application of course. My experience is not with the 28 nosler, but with the venerable .300win mag.
I have taken moose ,elk , whitetail, black bear & grizzly with the Berger's all 1 shot kill's. I'm sure this will get a few hairs crossed, but my last kill was a beautiful 5x6 bull elk @ over 700 yards with a 8km/hr cross wind. Shot placement was no less than perfect & the Berger preformed flawlessly. The 28 nosler loaded up with 180gr Berger(BC of 0.659) & high velocity of that cartridge. I believe the math speaks for its self...

They work for me but I've always found them to like being close to the lands for best accuracy. I'm not sure how much freebore is in your 28 nosler though so your mileage may vary.

Thanks for the tip, I checked it out but I think my rifle twist may be too slow as it calls for 1 / 8.3 " or faster.
I'm pretty sure mine is 1 / 9 ".

Your 28 nosler will handle the 195's but the bc won't be as high as if you had a faster twist.

May also be an issue finding a powder slow enough to fill that case sufficiently with a 195

I have used both the Bergers and Sierra Matchkings on game with great success. I now use the 180 gr SMKs in my 7 wsm and the 140 gr Bergers in my 260 AI, I've never had to take 2 shots.
