10 Round magazine legality?

As long as they are not designed and manufactured for use in a semi-automatic center-fire rifle, or a pistol, there is no regulated magazine capacity.

^^^ this

For example, even though there is no magazine capacity restriction for a bolt action rifle you can not take an AR-15 magazine and remove the rivet to use it in your Mossberg MVP bolt action, but if the rifle had been designed to use a proprietary magazine designed for the MVP you could legally run 30 round magazines if they were available. This is why the MVP comes with a 5 round magazine but you can legally use a 10 round LAR pistol magazine or a 14-16 round Beowulf magazine, it was designed and advertised to use AR-15 magazines which is great in the US where they don't have our stupid magazine restrictions on semi auto centerfire firearms.
