MG34 Feed tray is buggered

Good news everyone, I brought it into my auto shop class and welded them back on! I am in the process of filing down the welds then I will find a way to make it black again. Can I use gun blue on welds?

as long as you didn’t use Stainless steel filler .

Yup I had 3 sets of rollers made and the new rollers works 100% better than the old ones

Nice, I wonder why mine was out of whack, I guess it is 75 years old. I read you were having trouble with your mg? Did you work it all out?

Got my feed tray fixed up, I am still looking to buy a replacement one.

Yes I tried the drum and it still does not fit at all, I just wanted it to look original until I can find a better feed tray. and thank you!
