^^must be an sks guy haha, but in all seriousness it's a short to medium range caliber, 2-3 moa very easy to get with irons, if your shooting further than 200, use another gun then. For cheap plinking and destroying stuff, or hunting deer, or as a battle rifle in a shtf scenario, 7.62x39 is a wonderful caliber

steel, yes...corrosive, yes...minute of barn door? I think the problem is your gun, because all the surplus I've shot is AS, or MORE accurate than S&B, Barnaul, Hornady etc. not for precision long-range shooting , never was...

mind you I wouldn't run surplus through a 858/958, XCR-L, AR, or things like that...and if I could afford an XCR, I wouldn't get it in 7.62x39 anyway. minute of stop sign at 200yds with SKS irons, I call that good.

Repealing of C-42 would not affect the classification of the CZ-958. It is purpose built to meet the non-restricted criteria. The Libs would have to pass an OIC to change its classification.
 
Just relax people. Jesus. What is with all the doom and gloomers? Sitting here pouting and spouting off what if scenarios is not going to change what happens in the future. Whatever the liberals decide to do is largely out of our control. Enjoy your hobby, buy whatever guns you want. If and when the time comes to react, we will do just that. In the mean time just relax and support the industry.

I'm definitely leaning toward the straight "hunter" model, tough with a different stock the "tactical" is fine too. I wonder what would be a good way to secure a bipod to this rifle?

Can you get the irons with a full beaver barf set too?
 
Subbed. Confused though. Some people hinting on (my settings - pages 2 and 3 ) the barrels are chrome lined and others saying they are not. If someone could clarify for people just joining.
