ive got an extra sufefire mb556k kicking around and wondering if anyone has tried it on a 12.5" ar15, and if so, what were your results/thoughts?

that was my initial train of thought and why i put it up for sale.
i think it would be good on anything 14.5" or longer, you?

I usually run 10" guns, at the range, for the guy behind it, no worries, but the concussion for people on the side, well you don't make too many friends. Top notch MB though.

Was considering running a class with it, so I'd like to be somewhat considerate of those around me. I'll keep that flash hider on the 12.5. Now the 7.5 might get a ferfrans or similar linear comp type device. Thx mildot!

This is exactly my findings with brakes on AR's, anything shorter than 14.5 gets a compensator not a brake.
I had a Rainier Arms mini comp (single chamber) and it was fine on my 14.5 but when I tried it on my 12 inch all I got was a headache from it. I sold it to some maniac that bought my 6.5 inch barrel and figured the most important thing with a short barreled AR was to be as obnoxious as possible.

haha. had a good laugh - i guess if you are going to be obnoxious, you might as well be REALLY obnoxious. i think it would cost me too much to have my fillings replaced at the dentist to shoot a 6.5" with RA mini comp.

Did you ever try my flash enhancer? First time I tried it on that 6.5" bbl is was seriously concerned about setting myself on fire. :)

Lol, no but you showed me pics or a vid back then. Quite impressive.
I did get to see that barrel make some nice fireballs at dusk with an S&J linear comp and American Eagle 55gr red box.
