Burris XTRII 8-40X50 MM OR Nightforce 8-32x56mm

Just tought of a Win-Win scenario...
Sell me your NF BR 12-42X and purchase your NF Competition !!! :D

Just checked out the NF comp price - ouch! Have you thought about a fixed magnification scope like the Sightron 36x ? I think Jerry at Mystic sells them for around $800. By the way if you want to compete in f class target rifle it has to be either 308 or 223, otherwise you are in f class open, like if you have a Creedmoor. Also Jerry has a nice competition bipod

Just put it on credit card :) and with the money I'll give you for your Scope it won't hurt that much lol ;)

I was hoping to start in F-Class Factory, but with the weapon I chose and the scope, I would be overweight limit (12 pounds). So I'm starting to think of switching from creedmor to 308 to be in the other f-Class category.

If you haven't shot in a match yet, why don't you try your Creedmoor in F-Open? No need to spend more money than necessary, and you can see how interested you are in F-Class.

I had another idea for you re: scope choice. Talk to Jerry at Mystic precision and ask him about his 10-50x Sightron with modified 1/8 MOA turrets. Well within your price point, 30 oz in weight. He has another version which is 8-32x and is less expensive, lighter. Looking at the Nightforce Competition it is way too expensive given the exchange rate, and unless you are competing at the top it's overkill. Use the extra money you save for a good bipod or rest. Can't sell my Nightforce Benchrest, sorry.
