I had a buddy years back whose Moose hunt group lost a member. The fellow had it in his will to be cremated and have his ashes loaded in shotshells for his buddies to continue to take him hunting. One of my buddies friend's sprinkled ashes into the shot cups with bird shot on about a flat of ammo and they took him Moose hunting the following year using the shells to shoot grouse. From what I understand he went on a few duck hunts too.
I hate seeing the obituaries in the paper now...too many people I know in there.
Dave.
#### Cancer...
Been 2 years Murray has been gone and it still sucks.
I'll apologize now if this offends anyone, but it seems like yesterday I was hunting with him in
Salmon Arm.
RIP Mur.
Rob
I hunted with my dad every year since I was old enough to walk, lost him this summer, this fall definitely sucks. Of course I don't know you, or Murray, but I can sympathize.
Rest in peace our fallen loved ones. God speed.
I have a few hunting buds that have passed on, and you are right , it really sucks.
But the hunt goes on with fond memories.
Mur is missed. I never met him in person only thru CGN and the BC forum but we had many conversations via the web. We were talking knives once and I asked which Dozier design was his favorite - he replied but said "don't order one, I will give you mine when I can no longer use it." Who makes such a generous offer to a guy you have never met?
RIP Mur
