I've got the whole RCMP C8 look going for my IUR, and I'm quite happy with it the way it is, but on my wish list is still this:

Nothin to hide there. I ripped the NEA lower off my $600 baby, and put an Omni polymer on there instead.

My gun meets the Canadian Content requirement for broadcast standards

Haven't seen it done yet

Looks like there's some sort of sleeve below the flash hider here, but it looks different than the simon sleeve:

That sleeve is for a can.

That sleeve was also to provide a stop for our M203a1 front loop mount. It makes that spot on the barrel forward of the front sight block the same profile as the spot behind the block on an old C7A1 where our large M203a1 loop was designed to mount.
Not necessary on an IUR that cannot accept that particular grenade launcher mount.

It isn't a Colt Canada / Diemaco barrel. It is a Colt Defense barrel.
