DA556 - hole on right side of magwell

Can anybody confirm whether or not this is a defect - a small 1/16" diameter hole on the "ridge" on the right side of the magwell? Unfortunately I wasn't able to attach a picture, but its obvious.

Normal. Put a drop of oil in it once a year, its to help remove the pivot pin if you should ever desire.
