LAW or Cooper Excalibur???

Cant find a listing for the LAW and talley light weight ring mounts.... Is that action based on another action?

It's my understanding that Talley lightweights made for a Nesika action will fit.

Just wondering why they went to a hinged floorplate?

Also to those who have handled one:
1) Is the bolt action smooth?
2) Does the stock have some "grip" to it?

The bolt is very smooth and for me the stock fits very well, has lots of grip..
