new 10/22

well went out today with wifey and I stopped by Cabelas and decided I needed a new addition to the family....

Ruger 10/22 stainless..took out my older one and reinstalled in the ATI scropion stock and installed it in the ATI AR22 stock...with bolt release mod..
will need alot of rounds to break it in maybe next couple of days I'll go in back of property...

anyone with same rifle with muzzle brake inastalled...looking for ideas

It would but can you believe all dressed up and no paper targets to shoot...gotta work tomorrow....
next day off is wednesday....
spend the afternoon tweaking my old 10/22, as I didn't want to buy another auto bolt release so filed my old one down and it got dark quick.
gonna research muzzle brakes for 10/22 and see what I can find bolt on or threaded...not sure yet.

Hey guys
well finally took about 20min out of my day of to do list and took my new 10/22 out ...went to the back of my property and three mags later , I have to say not one failure nor hickup...
can someone tell me if there is a difference between the ruger carbine and stainless models, besides the stainless of course ...both run great
also I have one of those reflex sights from Multi-Reticle Electro Sights and either the battery dies too quickly or can't see as it's too bright outside
any ideas what I should look at getting for "Christmas" as a new red dot

Shop around, site sponsers have them with and without riser.
A little gun shop near the zoo in Calgary had them for under $120 out the door with riser.
Same product can be as much as $160+ tax and shipping.
So it pays to shop around!!!!!
