cleaning up my bench, and found a few thousand .30 cal RN 110 grain bullets, think they may been given to me mistakenly as 9mm.

What are they good for? .308?

Any suggestions would be great

I was thinking of some rounds for my 308 ar-10.

better that than waste them, not sure what kind of demand there is for them. Have 2500 rnds.

Thanks for the input

Post 'em in the EE and I'm sure someone in your area that reloads and shoots .30Carbine will be in touch.

I'm a bit doubtful that they'll work in your AR-10. The light bullet will greatly reduce the peak pressure and it may not cleanly cycle the gun. Or more accurately by the time you load 'em up hot enough to ensure a clean cycle you may find that you haven't reduced the recoil all that much. Only one way to find out though....

Load them up with Trail Boss powder for fire forming the .308 and 30-06 in long headspaced military chambers.

Below my .303 British rifles love these light loads and it even make the brass butt plates softer when teaching the younger shooters. ;)

You can also practice with your deer rifles in small game season and try for head shots on rabbits and squirrels.

2500? Wow! I wish I had your problem! Excellent plinking and practice bullets for almost anything in .30. I've fired off a pile of Lee 93 grain wheel weight bullets in 30-30, etc..

Or you could tell me where you are at in Ab and I could take some off your hands for my carbine.

Started loading every caliber I got, have 15000 this week alone, and still haven't made a dent on my supplies yet. :)

Anyone wants to trade for any handgun projectiles make me an offer, I go to Calgary once a month or so too

Doubt it'll work with my ar-10, just was a thought, not enough gasses, and if there was the bullet wouldn't be too accurate.

I think by the photo's that what you have are just a copper coated bullet, not the FMJ military ball projectiles. I think I have a bunch of 158 gr Hornady jacketed .358 bullets if your interested.

I've loaded 110gr V-max for my AR-10 and RFB, they worked fine and were accurate.
Be sure those aren't pistol bullets though, if they aren't built to handle the RPM they will be spinning at 308 velocities they could come apart as soon as they leave the muzzle.
