So I have decided to give this mono metal bullet fad a try.
I got some 235g TSX to load in my 375ruger.
After some reaserch and what powder I have on hand. I have decided to go with Varget.
I have found published data with max loads ranging from 73g up to 80g
I have loaded some rounds for a ladder test.
Anyone have experance with the 235g TSX?
Only thing I am worried about is the increased velocity ruining meat. I have 300g loads that work great and don't tear up hardy any meat.
I know these mono bullets apearntly hold up to hard fast impacts. But what can I expect for meat loss?
Granted I always aim for the lungs. But in the event of a shoulder shot what could one expect.
Let's say 2900fps on deer to moose size game
