So far they're apparently the one time run of 490 C7/SA20 and 490 C8/SA15.7

Limited edition. 500 of the 15.7 and 500 of the sa20 produced. Ad colt Canada has move away from producing upper with a fixed front sight block, no more are coming.

IUR is all they do now.

Furthermore. There's some currently and probable to be listed on the EE.

If you want to spend big there's a full kit with green and EIS, if you want to spend retail there's a great unfired black and you can spend a little less and part one together still.

A LOT of folks who purchased the SA20 and SA15 kept the lowers and sold off the uppers, to either match with an IUR or other Colt upper. I want to thank those people for helping to maintain - or increase! - the value of my unbubba'd SA20 with green furniture.

Ya. A 1 in 500 model likely is a poor, easy to find gun in a few years. People who invest in such guns generally have one new in the package for a decade or two to recoup any profit.

Unless they are moved out of country I doubt the value will significantly jump

I find the sentimental investment to be worth the extra couple hundred over the run of the mill Colt... Not to mention the obvious upgrades.

id put less stock in the green unless you're going for a particular generation.

Diemaco collectibility

I'd been of the opinion that Diemaco/ Colt Canada branded stuff is rare, and that's one of the reasons it's worth a premium over Colt USA and other manufacturers.

But the influx of 'blemished' IUR's is making me wonder-seems like a lot of them on the market.

On the other hand, the lower receivers aren't that common, and accessories like the triad and sights with Diemaco markings still seem to command a premium....

Seems harder to tell nowadays.
