Daniel Defence Chrome BCG

Bcg is the a major part of the rifle, Daniel defense makes quality stuff. I like the smoothness of the chrome, i swear it makes my rifles cycle smoother specially when dirty. Try out brownells, you might save $50.

So got first of my 3 packages today.

BCM Gunfighter Charging Handle.

USD 106
Shipping USD 15
No customs duty or sales tax. USD 121 delivered.

Ya my bro orders from Canada all the time and the only time he got hit with duty was when he expedited it, it was also held in customs .

My Geissele trigger is on the way. Hopefully I don't get ht by the CBSA lottery.

Good luck. The one I ordered a three weeks ago got picked up. Bastards. CBSA had inspected the package too. Ah well. The amount I order from Brownells, it all balances out in the end I suppose.

New limit: $500 minimum for a while now for Brownells. Sign DSP paper and that's all.
But buy local. It all ends up the same price with the current dollar and your paying for the trouble retailers go through to get it here.
There are better BCGs available on the Canadian market. IMO

There is a reason why these stores make millions and millions of dollars, and why the owners own multi million dollar houses. I rather buy from the first middleman ,thank you

With all due respect, you are kiddin' yourself if you think the profit margins running a firearms business here in Canada makes you a millionaire, in your dreams!!!! Laugh2
Most of these guys with their smaller online ventures, probably make enough to support their hobby.

That being said there is nothing wrong with Brownells.
I have ordered from them numerous times in the past. They are an A+ retailer. However I try to support our local retailers as best I can and resort to privately importing or buying south of the border as a last resort.

I regularly order from Brownells due to their larger selection. Currently I am waiting for a DD 6.8 SPC bolt and complete stock assembly.

Any idea if we import complete uppers? I know it requires the import export permit but do we have to pay USD$250 to brownells?
If its under $500 and it does meet the restriction criteria, it can be delivered. Each item has a restriction tab that will outline what is required.

Where do i see this restrictions tab. I presume its not the "Available outside US filter"

Yes, and besides that if you click on the "DETAILS" tab under the product it will say "Foreign Shipping: This item cannot be shipped out of the United States." or "Foreign Sales
This item cannot be sold out of the United States."

In my experience if I dont click the available outside of USA filter, I just look in the details, if it doesnt say "Foreign Shipping: This item cannot be shipped out of the United States." then I add it to the shopping cart

Ok Thanks. My question remains. In order to import the barrel, do I need to pay US$250 export license fee?

On occasion there will be a restriction warning tab on the item in question when it is in the "Shopping Cart" when checking out.

Which barrel? I tried to order a stripped upper reciever once, it required the export lic so I didnt buy it. Another time I wanted to order a barrel and bolt it did not, so it can depend on the specific item

If you go through the order process, if anything needs an export lic they will notify you before taking any money from you. For the upper, I ordered it online, next day I got an Email saying I need to do the $250 export lic/fee. I didnt fill it out and a few days later the order was automatically cancelled. My credit card was never charged any amount

They are really good over there, if you give them a call they can tell you for sure what the deal is with your specific product you want to buy

Yes same restrictions that are listed in "details" before adding the item to your cart, will also have the same listed in the shopping cart after you add it. Its pretty hard to miss

If the item is under $500.00 USD and is gun parts and accessories, all you need to do is fill up the paperwork they send you. You don't need to pay $250. export fee.
It will tell you and if your not sure pick up the phone and call them.
