Best all around 12ga autoloader

Well thanks to all the feedback here and at LGS and others went ahead and grabbed an SX3 camp and 101 at BP as they were both on sale and have a rebate. Grabbed both for less than friends have paid for their O/U so am ahead of the game in my books (especially as I outshot some of them with both guns over the weekend.
The 101 saw about 100 rounds and worked well (after the safety/barrel select git all figured out) and was well liked by me and others that tried it.
The SX3 saw about 150 rounds - even a bunch of very old shells and even some reloads (the RO even laughed at how they sounded and some had paper wads) that it cycled flawlessly other than 1 FTE where the hull pretty much split. Even ran through shells that the brass cracked on!!! Only issue is that shells do seem to eject right at the feet of the next station where I was shooting but maybe other ranges are more spread out.....guess the 101 will be the trap go to - lol!

Stoked thy both worked well and shot well and plan to keep them for a long time!

Congrats on a fine selection. I know the x3 will do well and if the new 101's are half what my old ones are like both guns will do you a long long time
Cheers

I've got a 2013 mint Versamax slightly used and shoots everything from light 1oz loads to 3.5" shells. Softest recoil on a gun I've ever shot.

This question seems to be quite the popular one. I've owned quite a few of them at this point and landed on the Benelli SBE2, I'm not huge on having to clean gas guns all the time.

Best thing to do is use the EE in here lol. Buy and sell under yu find your fit !!

I didn't mind the inertia guns until I started into trap and skeet.
Now that I shoot a fair amount I find the recoil is insufferable.
Now I shoot a gas gun, and to save the pain I don't mind cleaning it once in a while. That's just busywork that keeps the wife off my butt.

I have been shooting 1100's since the 70's and wouldn't think of anything else. I have 2 in 12 ga 3" mag and a 20ga 2 3/4" with several barrels. The 12's cycle every load flawless with the appropriate barrel. I use 2 3/4" barrels for light trap/skeet loads, and 3" barrels for heavy loads. keep the gas piston area clean and dry , no oil here, and the will cycle perfect for thousands of rounds before needing a set of O rings and a seal.
