Anyone range tested a Colt IUR 15.7 PREMIUM CARBINE yet?

Waiting delivery of one of these from Ellwood Epps.

Everything I read says they are amazingly accurate, with the free floating barrel.

Anyone range tested one of the Colt Canada IUR uppers, now available, for accuracy?

Nice to see Colt Canada rifles at a decent price for a change.

Do you think we'll see more Colt Canada rifles being offered to the public?

I was hoping to try mine tomorrow at 100 yards but no range time is available so will be heading to an indoor range tomorrow but limited to 25 yards. I have the colt upper with a DD lower.

Putting it together yourself:
$900-ish for a lower with green furniture
$200-ish for a bcg
$550-ish for a possibly blemished IUR
$40-ish for generic charge handle.
?? for handguards...

'GREEN A2 STYLE CARBINE HAND GUARD'.

trying to figure that one out.... unless it's some new piece of unobtanium that O'dell has released....

Enhanced ambi lower, IUR.
Save a couple hundred.

The supreme combo. Canadian manufactured Colt-Diemaco ambidextrous Enhanced Lower with green furniture combined with the IUR 15.7 upper.

INCLUDES

Enhanced Lowers which include ambi safety, ambi mag release, ambi sling-loop and green furniture.
The IUR gives the operator Four Solid Rails in MIL-STD 1913 (Picatinny) configuration: rails at 3 and 9 o’clock positions for accessory mounting; one reinforced 6 o’clock rail with recoil lug for mounting an underslung grenade launcher, shot-gun or a forward grip and one 12 o’clock continuous rail for various inline sighting options. Includes Colt Canada cold hammer forged barrel, 15.7" with factory installed improved flash suppressor. The IUR is a float tube which removes all external influences from the barrel not unlike that of a sniper rifle. The floating barrel provides for greater accuracy from a system that already fires 1 MOA.

Heres the thing, IUR's don't ship with a bcg.
There was never an official iur rifle.
So I wouldn't be expecting a Colt bcg. Those come with a sa15.7 or sa20.

If it's an ATI BCG, I think I just got ripped off.
The BCG is one of the most important parts of the rifle and replacing it could cost $300 or more.

Originally when we ordered the rifles all they told us was it came with "a BCG", I had to knock hard to clarify the details. I always try to get as much in the way of specifics on our site as possible.

Check your BCG when you get it. I doubt very much it's from them.

Kudos to Al Flaherty's for making full disclosure in their product description. Everyone should do the same.

Guess I better start looking for a replacement BCG.

Brownell's has Colt BCG's on back order. Will they export BCG's to Canada?

What is currently considered the best BCG out there? What is the best currently for sale in Canada?

Irunguns just had some Colt BCG but sold out quick again. Maybe more on the way
 
Kevin from Epps got back to me and assures me that the IUR Carbine comes directly from COLT Canada through the Colt Canada distributor and has all Colt parts.

It is not the same as the Flaherty rifle with the ATI BCG.

Feel a hell of a lot better about the purchase now.

I hate to be a downer and bust yer bubble, but I very very highly doubt that anything less than an SA20 or SA15.7 complete rifle sans butchering will have a genuine CC BCG in it. Trust me on that one...
