Hunting shotgun suggestions

They are the same gun with slightly different furniture.

Pretty much so. A member here some time ago that owns both did a side by side and shared. His words
Cheers
Bolt, piston, barrel, trigger group, are the same. The Silver has a triangle shaped safety from the Gold and the SX3's is round. The shape of the mag tube and the disassembly of the recoil spring/tube are slightly different.

Many of the SX3 models come with a shim and spacer kit to adjust the fit. The Silver does not, although some manipulation using wedges of folded tin foil does wonders for adjusting drop and cast.

The SX3 has a rounded back on the receiver and the Silver has a semi hump. The SX3 is the lighter of the two.

I like the swing of the Silver better, but that's me. Mostly because its a bit heavier and that's usually my preference. Other than that, there's very little difference between the two and they're both excellent guns that have been able to cycle everything.
