I confirmed with tradex that's the xmas special is for berdan primed. The single case I bought about a week ago is supposed to be boxer. I was told by Anthony to specify whether I wanted boxer or Berdan for that order.

I thought the accuracy would be better .. But i swapped the powder in some, looked like ball Win 748 style powder and replaced it with some IMR 4895 , Shoots way tighter in my M1a and bolt guns now , was worth the work .

Yes i shot some from the picknic table behind the barn with my NM, accuracy seem to be on par with berdan but i think they are loaded milder, i will have to try some in my Nemesis, berdan was very hard extraction, now if boxer extract easy, it will confirm that berdan are hotter... JP.

By the way, if you had extraction problems on your Nemesis it's not related to the round being hotter but the headspace dimensions. NATO 7.62mm rifles have 13 thou longer chamber than a commercial .308 rifle has. 7.62 also has a lower chamber pressure by approx. 12k psi so the .308 rifle can handle more pressure or hotter rounds. When you fire, the expansion of the already tight headspaced brass seals the chamber and makes it a pain to extract. You should also watch the hard primers on the Hirt ammo. The Nemesis prefers the softer stuff ;)

I don't think anyone mentioned it, so maybe it's just me, but I think the packaging is really cool.

I can't wait to find a home for the cool crate.

Quality packaging for Quality ammo.. I just ordered some more yesterday. Anyone still on the fence? You won't find better at that price..
