I'm thinking about purchasing a Gold Match Extreme and thought I would see if anyone has first hand experience with it. In many ways it look like a director competitor to the 6" Pardini GT.

Thank you in advance,

Brian

I've been wondering about these myself. Never seen or heard of one in Canada though. Tagged for interest.
I have a Tanfoglio Match in 40 and I have a Pardini GT40.
Both are far more accurate than I am.

My Match is accurate the Pardini is Far more accurate.
The barrel on it is stupendous good. I get roughly 50ft/s more out of the pardini.
Its a very blocky gun to hold, need bigger hands. Frankly the Pardini is a work of engineering art.
Trigger is fantastic.
Pardini mags are stupid expensive about 200 a pop.
Pardini Trigger is amazing. Two stage fully adjustable. You can get it to a 1.25 pounds.
The pardini is designed to be a single hand shooter some of the controls are bad. Safety latches and slide release are in an awkward position so the Pardini is not very good for action shooting I found mainly because of the controls are in wrong positions.. Well not with out some major modifications.
Now the other bad part of the Pardini. Its not reliable well at least mine isn't.
Even tho the pardini is aluminum it is a very heavy gun, fairly low recoil compared to the Match.
Will take longer rounds but I found it to be more reliable with stock oal.
Do I still love it.. Yep.

The match is a fantastic gun as well. Its my go to gun for action shooting. The gun is not like the work of art as the pardini but its a very good gun. Mind you my is just a Match not anything else. I suspect the Gold is probably an excellent gun.
Match needs a longer trigger screw so the pull is not super long. Factory trigger is about 3.25pounds.
Doesn't like long ammo well the mags don't so use stock oal.

I love both guns. Even tho the pardini is not as reliable as the match its an excellent gun.

Yes they probably are pretty close. That is going to be one of the fully tweaked Tanfoglios so you know it will have had custom attention and fitting. I haven't seen them for sale up here but assume mid to high $3s? A lot of folks love the Tanfoglios and the xtreme models seem to be a cut above. If you like it go for it.

I'm partial to Pardini's personally. Not too many have shot them so they are not a popular as the Tanfoglios, but those how have shot a Pardini, love them.

Also, if by chance you speak/read German (or are willing to use a translator) this is a cool article.

I just bought a Pardini GT9.
Amazing pistol. Quality built and VERY accurate. The trigger is fantastic.
Brought it to the range yesterday for the first time and I am hooked. I have shot quite a few pistols in the past and this is one of the best experience so far. By the way, I shoot mainly two handed and it fits like a glove (to me anyway).

Thank you for the comments, I'm shot a Pardini GT 45 And have owned or own Pardini 22 & 32. I know they are they great, but as They gain in popularity my desire to own something different increases if it's of equal or better quality.
