Ok, so in a blatant ripoff of Clobbersauras' thread, and since it was mentioned by a few people in that thread, I thought it would be interesting to formalize the rules and create different divisions for a similar friendly "competition".
To qualify, all targets must be at 25 yards, and must be a B-8 Target. A picture of the target and pistol must be posted, and the pistol information/shooter/time and place shot must be included in the post, as well as which division it is being entered in. Only fresh targets will qualify, no holes may be covered up or patched.
There will be 5 divisions: Centerfire, Rimfire, Target, Revolver, and Open.
Centerfire, Rimfire and Revolver are pretty self explanatory (but if there is something I've overlooked, please point it out).
Target includes both center fire and rimfire pistols/revolvers that have features that would generally disqualify the pistol from IDPA/IPSC production division. Basically, use your own judgement and don't say your IPSC race gun or Pardini target pistol is anything but a Target division. Something like a Glock 17 with aftermarket trigger and adjustable sights is fine in Centerfire division. No optics.
Open is anything goes, and pistols with optics must be posted as Open category.
To make the list, out of 10 shots, one must score at least 95 points on the B-2 target. No rests, standing unsupported, freestyle. Approximately 1-2 minutes per target to shoot, reloading of revolvers does not count against time limit, I don't expect people to time themselves but a reasonable rate of fire should be maintained.
People are welcome to re-post groups from Clobb's thread as long as they qualify.
