Sako Rifle Raffle, Winner Announced!

Got my tickets, glad to help raise some money for your club!

Hey Fire306 ... I am NOT buying a ticket and I will tell you why so that the generous folks on CGN that were good enough to support your club (and from all appearances a very worth cause) dont get a little "jaded" like me.
Several years ago I purchased (on this site) a couple of tickets on a rifle being raffled up in the North West (IIRC I believe it was a Sako also). Some guy name "Cat" something or other was selling the draw tickets. Tickets weren't cheap etc. About a month and half after the supposed date of the draw I inquired about the results of the draw as nothing had appeared on this site to say who won or if had even been conducted. Nor had I received any email to advise me of the results (win or loose) The person who sold me the tickets eventually got back with a response; they (he or she) "implied" the raffle had been conducted and the prize awarded (they did not say who won) and they ended the PM to me with the words "thanks sucker"!


So I may be a little overly sensitive and a little bit suspicious by nature... but I was more than a little miffed! Not because I didnt win (who really expects to win?!!) but for the rather derogatory comment that was made to me about my generosity!

Your raffle ... but suggest you announce here who the winner was (or PM all the ticket holders the result if you prefer since you have their details) and have the courtesy that the guy I dealt with did not!
 
If you haven't been around to see, this gun club holds an annual raffle each year and as the first post claims they always post the winner on this site after that individual has been contacted. I'm sorry that you may have gotten scammed in the past, but please don't make assumptions when the operators of this draw work very hard to keep things above reproach and have built up that reputation

I am sorry to hear you were possibly scammed in the past.
I do my very best to ensure everyone who contacts me get's the tickets they are after, though admittedly this year I seem to be very busy and sometimes don't get back to people for a few days, but I do get back to everyone.
We have run annual fundraisers at our club for many, many years. The winners are always posted on our club website (https://ngbrgc.wordpress.com/) It's not a fancy site but it does the trick.
As promised I always post the winners here on Gunnutz for every draw we have had where I sold tickets here on this site. We have given away 10's of thousands of dollars in prizes, and managed to raise some funds to continually upgrade our club over the years. I do not post the winners names until they are contacted personally and know they have won.

All caught up on PM's now, EMT's collected and all tickets sent out.
If somehow I missed getting back to someone, please contact me again so we can get your tickets going.
Lots of tickets left, not much time left to buy them. We stop sales on Dec 31, 2015
Get them while you can.
 
Tomorrow is the last day to get tickets. I'm having computer trouble but if you want tickets I will process them for you as soon as I'm up and running.
