My 22 shoots 1/2" groups at 50 yards/meters all day! Really? Prove it!

I added you to the successful list tuffbuff (but only once) lol
2 many groups on that last one ?!
I think that one rifle gets credited once, and furthermore the target should be seen in its entirety and not use any stickers. It's not that the submitted target is doubted, but this way everything is plain for all to see and no one should wonder if anything is amiss, so to speak.

I got out there today and had a successful attempt.

Group sizes were: .396, .492, .391, .458, and .411. The average size was .4296. Please excuse the upside down photo.

Smallest group.

Anschutz 64 Biathlon, Bushnell 6-18, Lapua Centre X.

This week I got a Boyds Pro Varmint stock for my CZ 453 Varmint. Yesterday I pillared the stock. Today I shot the rifle for the first time with the Boyds wood. I was very pleased with the results. This was shot at 58 yards using SK Standard Plus.

Group sizes, left to right in inches: 0.240, 0.268, 0.383, 0.385, 0.310"
Edited to add photo with calipers on smallest group. Group average is 0.317"

Here's the rifle. The scope is a Hawke Sidewinder 8.5-25x42.

Nice shooting grauhanen. Another successful attempt. I will add you to the successful list again.

Replaced the Shilen barrel on my 40XB with a Lilja 4 groove 1 in 16 twist cut to 26 inches.

Out to the range today and testing a number of different ammo (Eley Team, Match and Tenex) RWS R50, Lapua (Center X and X Act). Going for 5 groups but the X Act stunk it up. The Tenex produced a 0.165 so I put the tuner on, and set at "0", shot the following five groups.
.312
.287,
.296,
.382 and
.314

.318 Average

We have a 100 yard 22BR shoot on Sunday, so sighted in and tried some of the same ammo as tested at 50. Again the X Act stunk it up again. This X Act was given out as a prize for our BR50 championship and I don't think anyone got good results. On the ARA target I was getting zero's with both the 40XB and the BSA Martini. The bright spot again was the Tenex with a velocity of 1078 and a .276 (c-c) for 5 shots. Followed that up with a .776 (Tenex) and Center X measured .690

Wind was switching from 3 o'clock to 5 and the velocity was 3-5 mph.

The forecast calls for snow late this afternoon and tonight -- some 20cm. As a result, this morning I decided to the range, which is at the end of a 3 mile unplowed stretch of back roads.
I shot this target with my Anschutz MPR. It has a Sightron Big Sky 36X scope. I used SK Standard Plus ammo, and the distance was 58 yards (they call it 50 yards at the Sudbury Game and Fish Protective Association rifle range on Kasten Lake Road). It was calm but very cool at minus 2 Celsius.

Group sizes: 0.478, 0.387, 0.124, 0.450, 0.242 inches. Average group size: 0.366 inches.
