Other than the 3 round Gibbs mags and the old Parker is there really no non-gunsmith detachable for the mauser 98. It isn’t ubiquitous enough for a profitable tool-up to punch some out?

The original internal mag proved to work so well for over a hundred years that most see no need for a detachable one that can get lost and all you have then is a single shot rifle.

Tradex has some magazines and all you do is take the floor plate assembly out and slide it in.
