Eotech Refund

Do they provide the refund in CDN or USD? I may send mine in too. Just wondering how I should list the purchase price?

Because it is a product return and not a purchase what are you putting for Declared unit value because we shouldn't have to pay duties and taxes.

Mine was supposed to arrive at L3 in Anne Arbour on the 17th as of today status is" item has arrived at delivery office in the destination country"
I could have drove it there and came back home in 2 hours.

Well I am going to hold out on sending mine back for a bit. I am concerned about them folding before I get my money back. For the record I have not had any issues with mine but I really do not want to keep it knowing what I know now.

Folding or Class Action Cases...both are possibilities.

Well shipped one off to them today. Cost me $50 for expedited with insurance and tracking. Wanted to pay the extra to insure it because with my luck it would go missing if I didn't.

What shipping method did you use Jerry and what did you declare for duties?

I shipped canada post fastest option. Declared warranty return. I also purchased full insurance just in case.

My sight just arrived this evening. Not really expecting to hear anything from them until into the new year to be honest. 2nd week of 2016 I'll be shooting them an email enquiry.

Does this refund only affect older units?
Because now that their documents state zero shift occurs and they no longer claim parallax free, does that make recent purchasers left out?

They also state magnifiers are not included in the refund, so how do you get a refund for the sight, if the sight was purchased as a packaged unit with a magnifier? It was one price for the package.
Make something up?

That's what others have done. Refunds have apparently been approved, provided you don't go over retail price on just the sight.

Fortunately, the magnifier has been reported as working well with Aimpoints.

Regards.

Mark
